Khatuna Elbakidze was honored the qualification of the Bachelor in Applied Mathematics with specialty of Mathematical modeling from Iv. Javakhishvili State University. In 2006 defended the PhD thesis on “Mathematical modeling of linear and nonlinear processes”. From 2000 works at the different positions in the I. Vekua Institute of Applied Mathematics. Currently he is as senior scientist in the department of the mathematical modeling. From 2004 also works at the same position in the dept. of Atmospheric Physics of M. Nodia Institute of Geophysics. 2015-2019 worked at the Military Scientific Technical Center “DELTA” as the Active impact Group leader. Participated in many National and international scientific projects. Within the Eurocouncil 7th framework program represented a visiting scientist at the University of Calabria (Italy) and Space Research Center in Graz, Austria. Her scientific works are related to the Has published more than 90 scientific articles, presented her works at more than 50 International workshops. Has obtained the following awards: Young Scientist Award of Georgian M. Nodia Institute of Geophysics and Geophysical Association; Young Scientist Award at ISAP2007 International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation August; First place at the Republic Scientific Olympiads among students; J. Soros award as an outstanding student. Is involved in many Scientific Programs and organizing comities, delivers the lectures at different Universities.
