Anriette Michel Fouad Bishara is a trailblazer whose journey seamlessly blends the worlds of commerce, art, and cutting-edge technology. Starting with a Bachelor's in Commerce from Sohag University, Egypt, specializing in Accounting.
Despite Anriette's remarkable success in this field for almost two years, she courageously pivoted her career trajectory. She delved into the realm of graphics and animation design, immersing herself in courses at the Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University - Cairo, Egypt. Where she always had a talent for drawing and design since her early childhood.
These courses continued for approximately 4 years. During her period of studies in these courses, Anriette worked in different companies and she was promoted to many positions, starting as a junior designer until she reached the position of Art Director.
The world of design and animation posed challenges that sparked a profound curiosity in Anriette. Determined to bridge the gap between imagination and execution, she set her sights on computer science.
Anriette earned her Master's degree in engineering in computer science from the International Black Sea University, Tbilisi, Georgia, followed by a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Business and Technologies at the same University.
During Anriette's research work to gain her PhD degree, she investigated the ontology and logic layers of the Semantic Web Stack. In particular, she studied different approaches to ontology reasoning, and based on them she developed a new logic, namely Unranked Fuzzy Logic, that can be used on both, ontology and logic layers of the stack. Anriette research interests include Unranked and Fuzzy Logic, Semantic Web, and Automated Reasoning. She has more than 6 publications in these areas and participated in more than 15 international conferences.
In 2020, she was a support personnel in the grant project funded by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation "Unranked Fuzzy Logic and its Applications" (YS-19-367).
Currently, she is a Key Personnel in another grant project funded by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation "Unranked Probabilistic Theory" (FR-22-4254).
In the dynamic intersection of commerce, design, and computer science, Anriette Michel Fouad Bishara stands as a testament to the power of interdisciplinary brilliance, paving the way for innovation and discovery.
